Dickie Durbin is throwing YOUR money all over the state. The war on poverty, launched under LBJ, should have completely eliminated it by now, but no. Instead it enslaved people IN poverty. Obviously throwing money at people doesn’t work. That doesn’t stop Dickie however.
Bloomington got some, not enough to do anything with except maybe fund a salary. I wonder if that’s where it’s going? See the complete list at the link above.
Is this an election year?
Federal government not local officials will probably be making our zoning ordinances in exchange for the money.
Problem is, there are no good paying jobs to be had.
