I didn’t get this read early enough for you to attend for meals, but you can still attend sessions and find out more about New Illinois.

Downstate has very little in common with Chicago, New Illinois divides the state. The main speaker this weekend is working on doing the same in California.

  1. Sorry, I guess I’ve become pessimistic.

What are the chances you could even get 2% of republicans to care about any issue enough to actually do anything more than talk about it?

But a good % of progressives will manically march any time another progressive say “that’s not fair!”

  2. If it geared to Separating Illinois and real improvements for rural taxpayers may be worth a visit!

  3. I attended 2 hours of the meeting today as I had a gazzillon other things to do. Paul Preston, president of New California was informative. He stated that California will be insolvent in 10 months. He also stated that only paper ballots will be used for the next election. I doubt that the Democrats will allow that. Paul states that we are in the 4th Reich. The information was not just about New Illinois but Agenda 30, illegals, what other Illinois counties are doing, etc.
The next meeting will be at the Chateau on April 11, 2024.

Overall, I am glad that I attended. I hope more people will attend in April. We need to become informed and begin to fight for what is right. A website is being developed for ordering tee shirts, stickers, yard signs.
