Illinois now gives regular driver’s licenses to illegals. Citizenship in Illinois is becoming meaningless, Tipsword is part of the problem.
The IRONIC thing is Voters are so asleep. Many Republicans LIKE SENATOR SUE REZIN from LaSalle County and David Severson from the Rockford Way and John Cabello, Hispanic and former Police Officer are NOW lining up trying to pretend they are doing something by talking about their displeasure about the Migrants, WHEN THEY are the REPUBLICANS who voted in Drivers License for Illegal aliens, School tuition credits Etc. etc. They are a bunch of American Traitors and the only thing worse than them are the idiots who keep voting them in Because they have an “R “AFTER THEIR NAME.

These alien police must be legally able to carry a firearm.
Just wondering how you do a background check going back 5 or more years for these people. All of the histories required for legal gun ownership come from America’s criminal and mental health databases, not foreign sources.

430 ILCS 65/ Firearm Owners Identification Card Act.

Sec. 3.1. Dial up system.
“In conducting the inquiry, the Department of State Police shall initiate and complete an automated search of its criminal history record information files and those of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, including the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, and of the files of the Department of Human Services relating to mental health and developmental disabilities to obtain any felony conviction or patient hospitalization information which would disqualify a person from obtaining or require revocation of a currently valid Firearm Owner’s Identification Card.”
Any person appointed shall be a
citizen of the United States, an individual who is legally
authorized to work in the United States under federal law and
is authorized under federal law to obtain, carry, or purchase
or otherwise possess a firearm, or an individual against whom
immigration action has been deferred by the U.S. Citizenship
and Immigration Services under the federal Deferred Action for
Childhood Arrivals (DACA) process and who is authorized under
federal law to obtain, carry, or purchase or otherwise possess
a firearm.
55 ILCS 5/3-7008
The law states -authorized to work and authorized under federal law to obtain, carry, or purchase or otherwise possess a firearm. Obviously, this narrows down the candidates.
They can’t find enough citizens to be police officers because Illinois protects criminals. Dump the Safe-T act and more would apply. Making non citizens officers is backwards
