Update: Bloomington names a new City Manager today

I was right. Congrats Jeff. Now cancel rebranding and fix the roads!

I predict Jeff Jurgens will be named City Manager. He wouldn’t be named today if the council wasn’t already on board. Jurgens is one of the good guys, at least in my dealings with him.

Of course any City Manager is forced to do what the council wants. If you want better government don’t elect downtown possessed leftists.

Of course I could be wrong, but I’ve heard Billy Tyus doesn’t want the job.

  1. Why does the City Manager have to have a “vision” for Bloomington. I don’t think that should be part of his responsibilities.

    1. Efucated thought: So called “ visionary” and strategy in roles and HRIS systems = bigger paycheck & shady HR -compensation pay scale (public sector theft) Encourages shady contracts snd projects and partnerships and too.

Like Union scam (only taxpayers pay in the end)

      Trusting the “system” $$$$ (yuck)
