I predict Jeff Jurgens will be named City Manager. He wouldn’t be named today if the council wasn’t already on board. Jurgens is one of the good guys, at least in my dealings with him.
Of course any City Manager is forced to do what the council wants. If you want better government don’t elect downtown possessed leftists.
Of course I could be wrong, but I’ve heard Billy Tyus doesn’t want the job.
Why does the City Manager have to have a “vision” for Bloomington. I don’t think that should be part of his responsibilities.
