I found this while looking for something else. I wonder if buying a hotel to house the homeless was her idea? Since she’s running for mayor of Normal, voters should know if she supports it. Does she know the tent city grew because the first camper was allowed to stay? Does she know a hotel will increase the problem?
Kathy Lorenz and her fellow leftist progressive marxists have ruined and continue to ruin Normal and Bloomington.
Director of Administration=top heavy nonprofit. Wonder if she ever worked in the private corporate world. Wonder why she left United Way where she advocated for a “housing stability navigator” paid with ARPA funds as part of the “housing coalition.”
I’m sure she supports it…anything to spend tax dollars.
Never donating again. They send way too many solicitations anyway. What we donate can’t possibly cover the mailings anyway.
Made donation after the death of a dear friend about 5 years ago. Even though I personally have never been a fan of HSHM. In my experience they enable people with poor impulse control to continue bad habits.
Anyway, they’re doing their best to spend all $100 of it on postage and printing trying to get us to write more checks.
Knowing they’ve hired this leftie do-gooder as part of their “leadership” team ensures their mailings get recycled with the dirty diapers and spoiled food.
