The BCPA reports are harder to match now with the artist fee because the description on payments is no longer clear. Someday I will get around to filing a FOIA for them instead of wasting my time trying to match them. The BCPA does at least post reports – minus the artist fee. https://www.bloomingtonil.gov/government/advanced-components/documents/-folder-2105#docan2735_6873_64
Meanwhile, Arena Events aren’t even posted. There have been events since June, they must be a secret. If the City wants to avoid FOIA requests it’s not that hard. Be transparent.

Too busy counting the money they’ll make from the REO Speedwagon concert?
Ticket prices went way up when they announced their retirement (which will result in empty seats).
The paid $60,000 for Marlon Wayans which Billy Tyus said wasn’t well attended. They need a win.
It will be interesting to see how much the new hockey team brings in. I used to go to a lot of games here and in Peoria. The prices were reasonable. The Riverman still have tickets for 13.00 dollars. The Bison, granted they are a more pro team, is selling tickets for 30.00/39.00 roughly. How many are going to spend that much regularly to see the games? That’s not in my budget.
