This is what Bloomington wants? More than 20% of registered voters need to show up and tell Cody and his gang NOBODY cares who you sleep with! What citizens care about is not getting ideology forced down their throats.
Citizens care about government employees and elected officials with the skills to do their job. “Rainbow ceilings” only exist for those who don’t have those skills. Vote accordingly.

Hendricks’ campaign contributions don’t show any money from this group, but Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 99 did give him another $5,000. Maybe the Victory Fund donated through ActBlue.
Voting for someone based solely on their sexual orientation is truly small-minded. If it were voting based upon race we could accurately call it racist.
Mboka the clown and Hendricks the goof will split the commie left vote. Leaving us Blowhard Brady. Brady talks a good talk (tailored to audience, of course). The rest of the time he will glad-hand through the crowd like everyone is his long absent best friend. It is just an act.

These type of groups have little to offer candidates at this level. Using the name and logo of the organization on campaign materials and social media is about the extent of the help Cody will receive form this organization.
Cody Hendricks will lose this election regardless.

The problem with your argument of “nobody cares who you sleep with” is that a lot of people really do care. One of those people was Dan Brady, who voted in the House *against* legalizing gay marriage in Illinois and who is now running against Cody for mayor.
His religious values probably didn’t allow him to vote yes. Your example is completely different from the last 4 years of this ideology forced on the country
I have commented how the liberals have totally shut me off because of their constantly shoving in my face how I am a racist if I have a comment that is opposite of what a black person proposes or says you liberals now have also manged to turn me off concerning any mention of gay people.
I know that I am not alone with these feelings.
The sad thing is that you people, liberals don’t have a clue of what you have done to the average person in the US today.
