It wasn’t just Olympia. Ridgeview bills are wrong too.
I called the McLean County Treasurer’s office to verify.
Corrected bills will be sent out for the SECOND payment. It will be higher than the first payment which is due tomorrow.

Some people have already paid both installments. Taxpayers are unhappy enough and now they have to write another check because of incompetence. I was wondering why our taxes went down a bit. Now I know.
David Mouser School Superintendent of District #87 who makes ($222,525/2024). Whose salary and benefits are paid by our property tax payments. And his pension payments, forever on our backs….
Barry Reilly and Mouser both said our property taxes would go down if we were dumb enough to vote ourselves another 1% tax.
Meanwhile that little butterball who looks like Pritzkers mini-me is laughing all the way to the bank!
Just heard in rumor mill- Ridgeview must be priming to model BN schools- heard a tax vote upcoming to build. Call anything modernization and eventually they will get the $$ (politics as usual). “For The Kids and Opportunity” ya know). Same playbook as usual
My tax bill went down a whopping $4.44. All taxing bodies were up except Ridgeview which was down nearly $400.00. Knew it had to be an error. Wait until we get the Airport tax too! Got a new voter registration card last week with the airport on it, so you know it’s coming!
