I would love to know why citizens should care about ANY law or ordinance that gets passed when non-citizens can break any number of these laws and never face any consequences. This is the epitome of “no taxation without representation.”

One can relieve themselves of this insanity if you have the courage to put it all in your rearview mirror. Realize that moaning about your current lot does nothing to improve it. You don’t have to tolerate this criminality. You really don’t. Leave Illinois. Leave Bloomington-Normal. It will never get better. In fact, it will get worse.
So, 6 out of 1,608 fatalities in Illinois from alcohol-related crashes in the last 5 years are from Illegal immgirants and that makes immigrants the problem and not, say, Alcoholism?
Citizens would be alive! Don’t promote the bull about they could have been citizens, they weren’t. How many people were affected by those deaths?

Excuse me for calling out the obvious, how stupid can people be? The statements made are no different then someone defending the illegals by stating”illegals are committing less crimes then the current population.” which has been made most recently by a local pastor.
How about if these illegals and they are illegal because they broke our law by crossing our border without documentation, for those that kill, murder, rape, and commit horrendous acts against children, these certain acts would not have happened here in our country if these people were not here period.
Tell your story to the families that have lost loved ones committed at the hands of some illegals.
And no I am not saying that all illegals are bad but unfortunately I can’t separate the bad from the good.
And yes unless a civil war ends the craziness get the hell out of Illinois!
Pecheco-Meza, and his passenger, have addresses in Indiana. Maybe we should close our border with Indiana.
Promise? As you know. illegals are all over the place. The difference is Indiana will actually incarcerate the criminal variety and co-operate with ICE outside of Marion County. The guilty parties likely knew they could literally get away with murder in Illinois since political leadership there worries more about criminal rights than the rights of citizens.
