This is a link to the 2024 Water Quality report on Bloomington’s website: https://www.bloomingtonil.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/24534/638878274396400000
It shows no violations for contaminants detected.
This is a more comprehensive report from 2024 on Bloomington’s water quality. It was published by Environmental Working Group (EWG) in Washington DC. https://www.ewg.org/tapwater/system.php?pws=IL1130200
That reports also shows no direct violations, but contaminants are listed that don’t have a legal limit and also exceed EWG standards. Bloomington didn’t list these in their report. Note most of them can cause cancer:

This one is on Bloomington’s report, but there is no legal limit:

.
The data they used was provided to them by the Illinois EPA. This note is on their website:

If you go to the Environmental Working Group website linked above, recommended filters are listed that get possible cancer causing contaminants out of your water. Page down to find them.

Maybe Bloomington should better police their own water department, instead of creating a new “proactive” minor residential code violation program to harass us, while we guzzle down their stinky cancer water.
“He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.”
Educated guess..pretty sure every County village and rural cities handling in a similar way….Very deceptive compliance and reporting practices (trust the data)…You pay a lot for this..and “safe” water you can’t drink.
