  1. Thank you Lord, for the gift of your only begotten Son to the world! May our country fully return to its Christian foundation.

    1. First let me say, I am greatful for our country and I do celebrate this holiday. I also understand the founding of our country on Judeo-Christian principles. I wonder what it means “to return to its Christian foundation”? How does that happen and even could it happen? I don’t mean to be negative or condesending, just curious.

  2. It is finished, so we can celebrate our Lord and saviors resurrection in three days.
And in so believing we can have forgiveness of our sins. Hallelujah!

  3. We were NOT founded as a Christian nation. In the Constitution in the 1st Amendment literary states that their is NO religion shall be established in the United States. It has always been clear that the Founders DID NOT want any religion much less Christianity. Especially the type of Christianity that is espoused here. Brown people are a problem for Nationalist Christianity.

      1. The Constitution was not based on the Bible. The Founders were part of the 18th century Enlightenment. John Locke, Jean-Jacque Rousseau.

Thomas Paine “Common Sense” outlined an egalitarian government.

The Establishment Clause of the Constitution states: “Prohibits the Establishment of any state religion or FAVORORING one religion over another.” So no, the Constitution is not based on the Bible. It doesn’t mention the Bible or Christianity.

No I’m not going to another country because none of you have actually read The Constitution.
I went to a private school were I studied the Constitution.

        1. I bet you don’t know the first book used in public schools was the Bible. The Constitution doesn’t provide freedom from religion, nice try though.

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. John Adams 1798

  4. Sometimes there are comments made that make me want to recommend that it would be in the best interest of my country that some people need to just move and go find a country more to their liking. Either that or find a school that actually teaches American history which might give a person a little more positive perception of the good old USA!
