I looked the case up yesterday to see where it is. It looks like all the preliminary actions will be out of the way soon. The case was filed TWO YEARS ago this month.

The case pertains to employment discrimination. If you forgot, Carlton was a highly decorated officer before getting fired.

It’s difficult to find any civil rights or employment attorneys in Central Illinois who are not affiliated or work for local organizations. This includes public entities and organizations & most are related to each other. It’s at every level it seems in BN area.
Conflicts of interest rarely transparent. Carlton yet another concerned employee and citizen and whistleblower that guy targeted and cancelled.
So sad he had to go thru this trauma. It’s rampent.
The long entrenched BN/McLean County Elitist Clique has nary a problem ruining lives if they believe you have crossed them. It is good you have recognized the players. Their membership includes both liberals and conservatives, Republicans and Democrats. What they have in common are inflated egos, a desire to be recognized everywhere they go and being the big fish in the local small pond. Your life will be better moving forward if you totally avoid them.
Correct. Stuck in area with family and financial reasons. I can name names but will resist. We know!! And the players are BOTh sides of aisle. Good observations.
Ty Carlton suffered so much injustice. Even his police officers turned on him. Tragic!
The reason Carlton was fired was because he lied in the internal investigation about printing reports off and giving his friends of the business the whole report. Not because of all the other things or problems he had with the department.

That is false. How about the other officer who pulled reports? Why is an assistant chief now on administrative leave? Look for the settlement.
The real reason has nothing to do with the case

I wonder if Kojack works for the BPD? Certainly something to look at.
Ty Carlton was an awesome police officer. His name and reputation has suffered so much injustice.
