A 3 hour meeting was held on September 22, 2026. 3 hours is now the norm. If I hadn’t sat through the last two, the people paying the township’s bills wouldn’t have any idea what is happening. I haven’t written about this meeting until now because I FOIA’d the packet Trustees were given and had to wait for it to be sent. This won’t be the only story on this meeting.

Someone needs to call the Feds and have both town investigated!!! I am sure they will find something to press charges on.
Johanna, that is a great idea and I hope there are concerned folks who will follow through with it! But on the other hand, what honest “Feds” are there in Illinois who could be contacted??? I’m not sure even any of your ‘republican’ office holders would want to touch this.
The Feds are not hired by the state, the Feds come from Washington, the Federal Government. The FBI for starters and the DOJ out of Washington, not Illinois.
