I was out of town for part of the day yesterday. Luckily I made it back in time to attend the 3 hour Normal Township Board meeting because the Zoom stream went out 35 minutes into the meeting.
A few highlights, there will be more:

See that check to Curtis Orchard? That is for an employee appreciation event 17 attended when 35 were expected. The total cost was around $1,100 when the yearly budget is $5,000. Curtis Orchard is in Champaign, it shouldn’t have been a surprise few attended.

Sent email #3 today trying to gather information about Normal Township salaried employees. 1st email was to the wrong person, but it wasn’t forwarded to the correct person.
FOIA what Stokes does, he is an independent contractor
According to the limited times he is mentioned in the available meeting minutes, it sounds like he is doing the work of the former facility manager position. Which no longer exists since they felt they didn’t need it, and created the Lead Custodian role instead.
And who is FX Cleaning services? Don’t they have like 4 custodians and a Lead Custodian on staff?
It’s interesting that the township’s Salary disclosure link doesn’t work on their website. Shocking.
I’ve seen posts on Krystal’s web page previously with Stokes and her in them. Usually they trips together to various places (St. Louis is one I recall) A search today shows no posts with him in it. Unless she had a different Facebook page all posts with Stokes in them have been deleted.
