Diane,Kudos to the article on the wedding fiasco with ISU athletics.

Some things to consider for follow-up:  who paid any overtime associated with set-up for the events at ISU.  Athletics pays a lot of overtime for facilities employees.  They are notorious for having employees work regular hours and then all games/weekends rack up the overtime.  Perhaps there was some spent on those employees, and I believe the taxpayers pay their salaries, benefits, pensions, etc.  Another part is the insurance:  was there an insurance policy for this special event holding ISU harmless?  

As Redbird fans, we know that the Athletic Director supervises his relatives.  Unfortunately that happens all throughout the state and even at ISU (the Bowmans could be an example).  However, there have been ongoing questions of competence of both Matt Lyons and LB Nagle (Lyons) in performing their duties. Perhaps the Athletic Department will disclose how many promotions Ms. LB Nagle-Lyons has obtained since she became romantically involved with Mr. Matt Lyons.
