Fly on the Wall: Food pantries

Evidently the local food pantries can’t keep food in stock.  Lines are long, food is in short supply.  Why would formerly prosperous Bloomington-Normal have long lines at food pantries?

Think . . Think. . Think hard.

State Farm has moved people out.  That means less money in the local economy which means fewer jobs all over the area.  Snowball effect.

Has local government compensated for declining revenues?  NOPE!  Gas taxes just went up, so did Utility taxes, phone taxes go up January 1st. Opportunities diminish and so do wages as more people compete for jobs.

People already living on the edge fall off that edge as government confiscates more of their money!  Local government is delusional about how their actions affect people.

Just wait a few months until property taxes are raised – first McLean County, then Bloomington.  Homeowners get hurt, but renters too.

Your LOCAL government is destroying your security and they are too blind to see it.   Anybody not fighting back deserves whatever happens to them.

Think maybe you should vote?  Buzz around and recruit your friends and neighbors too.  History says turnout will be dismal – change that!

  1. Also, as SF employees are moving out, the people the libs are moving in are the govt dependent/welfare/food pantry crowd. Open your eyes and look around.

  2. I often wonder if liberals are as blind to what they are doing as we think. Less opportunity equals more people dependent on government which requires a bigger government and cements a permanent voting block of people who won’t vote to reduce those government handouts.
