More on Agenda 21

Below is a good video explaining Agenda 21 and how the United Nations is implementing it through ICLEI.  Neither Bloomington or Normal are members of ICLEI, but they are in contact, reading their emails, and accepting federal and state money for implementation.  Reversing this process begins with education.  Some public servants may realize what “Sustainability” is, but many think they are part of saving the planet.

First, “Sustainability” comes from a 1987 United Nations report titled: “Our Common Future”  The commission authorizing the report was chaired by Gro Harlem Brundtland – vice President of the World Socialist Party.

At the 1992 Earth Summit, Maurice Strong – Secretary General of the UN – stated:

“Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing – are not sustainable”

  • The affluent middle class aren’t nearly as affluent as they used to be.
  • Fossil fuels are under attack by the federal government
  • Electricity rates will rise when coal is banned

Sensing a pattern?  Everything about Agenda 21 is Anti-American.  Government, especially foreign, should not be given any ability to usurp the Constitution.  Who are they to decide what is sustainable?  Americans invent, create, and plan their way to success, not ban the ability because of an opinion by a socialist organization.

  1. All council members have taken an Oath to uphold the Constitution. It would seem that they either do not understand the Constitution or they are guilty of treason.
