Normal: Elect Conservatives!

Are the citizens of Normal sick of the debt created by Mayor Koos and the current City Council?  Do they realize millions of their tax dollars have been stolen to rebuild “Uptown”?  Do citizens realize Mayor Koos isn’t done adding more debt since he is running for reelection?   Do citizens realize they have NO voice on the City Council?  Are you ready to replace the “YES to everything council” with people who believe you should not be taxed to pay for somebody’s agenda?  Will more than the usual 20% of registered voters make their voice heard to throw out the people burying Normal in debt?

Message from council candidate Gary Ohler:

HELP save Normal from Agenda 21 sustainability – put a conservative voice on Council!

Mayor Koos appointed Kevin McCarty (president of the Lake Run Club) to fill Jason Chambers’ council seat upon Mr. Chambers election to States Attorney. Mr McCarty only has voted in ONE municipal election – four years ago when he worked on the mayor’s campaign. Mayor Koos is working hard to keep his hand picked lackey on the council! He is also throwing his support to Cheryl Gaines, who also aligns with his Utopian vision.

A newcomer to local politics, Jarrod Rackauskas, wrote a letter to the Pantagraph during the last Illinois gubernatorial campaign, advocating tax increases — which was used on the Quinn’s campaign website! While in his editorial he claims to be a Republican, he is definitely NOT a conservative! Read it for yourself here:

We are into the last month before the April 9th municipal elections. I need help from conservatives who are tired of the frivolous “beautification” of Uptown Normal at the expense of critical services like fire protection while Council raises fees and contemplates tax increases. I don’t have the campaign war chest and liberal connections being made available to keep the status quo on Normal Town Council. I could use your help!

Email [email protected] to help put a conservative voice on the Normal Town Council.
