Something I heard: A second grader in District 87 has been suspended from school for two days. You see, his class was learning about China and Chinese culture. His teacher invited a Chinese lady in to demonstrate Chinese calligraphy. The boy said to the woman, “You’re good at calligraphy. it must be because you are Chinese.” The teacher reported the boy for making a bigoted statement. He was subsequently suspended from school for two days and he has this in his permanent school record.
Anybody have more details?

If this is true…I am absolutely disgusted. Political “correctness” is evil.
The kid IS right! Must be because she is Chinese! If I were the parent, this would be a fine time to teach the kid more about the real truth of the matter and take the kid out for ice cream.
