There was a discussion of the NSA phone records seizure on WJBC this morning. A caller said she didn’t care if they listened to her phone calls. The hosts said they weren’t listening, the caller was smart enough to know they might be. She still said she didn’t care. Then the conversation turned to the Boston bombing. Somehow it never dawned on the hosts or the caller that this program was DESIGNED to catch people like the brothers. Russia tipped us off about them, they made calls to Russian terrorists, but NSA couldn’t put the pieces together?
It’s not that difficult to understand the true intentions of government: control the population! Collecting billions and billions of records only makes it more difficult to target potential terrorists. Of course, Homeland Security has labeled Christians and returning veterans potential terrorists. The real terrorists are getting a pass.
The uniformed media makes their goals much easier.
