There has been a lot of talk about City elections, but nothing about School Boards. Why? Maybe you aren’t suppose to know! I couldn’t find anything on the Unit 5 or District 87 site, but I did find this:
Unit 5 and Dist 87 now have Winter Break instead of Christmas Break.

The ONLY way to Stop Common Core is get on the School Board. It doesn’t take many signatures, info is below. You have until December 22nd to file! If you are in another district you will have to search for information yourself!

This is federal control of education instead of local. It’s up to YOU to stop it. Your kids are being indoctrinated, not educated.
There are 5 (i think) positions opening up on the Unit 5 board
Do you know if they are at-large or districts? It would be nice if somebody in power cared enough to post the information. Of course, that might effect their agenda.
I believe they are all at large, but i cant say for certain
