Making their own Rules

By:  Diane Benjamin

Tonight the Bloomington City Council is asked to vote on changes to the Public Comment policy.  Mayor AttackMyOpposition will demand the right to declare a speaker out-of-order, thus terminating their time, if he deems them threatening or disorderly.  This is the same Mayor who wrote this on my site:

NO! Diane! It shows what an ABSOLUTE AND TOTAL PIECE OF GARBAGE you are -actually worse because garbage can be converted into something useful – you are a TOTAL ABSOLUTE HUMAN CANCER! PLEASE quote me on that! I haven’ checked this site in ages because it’s mostly crazy bullshit -to be charitable! But, WHEN YOU ATTACK MY SON YOU ARE GOING TO PAY THE PRICE YOU SICK DIRTY SLIMY IGNORANT FOOL! And, frankly, that’s raising you to a level you ABSOLUTELY don’t deserve!

Nothing you ever report on this site makes any sense because I will give people anything they want to know about their government. Diane you REALLY are the craziest human being I”ve ever known. This WILL be my last post on this sick site of the worst part of humanity! The fact that some of you still think you’re Christians is PATHETIC! There is a special place in hell for you!

The Council will give this clown the power to decide who is threatening?

The new policy also calls for no response to citizens from the Council.  The old rules did too, yet Renner broke that rule all the time.  What’s his penalty Council?  Citizens can have their time terminated by a tyrant but he has no consequences for obviously breaking the rules?

How about when Renner attacks Aldermen during a meeting?  Any consequences then?  There hasn’t been in the past!

Council:

Citizens wouldn’t be showing up to talk at Council if they believed the City was doing a good job.  I just got a call from somebody who attended Alderman Lower’s Town Hall and who DID count the number of attendees:  88!  That many people gave up an evening because they want to be heard, but you still aren’t listening?  Raise taxes again, do a downtown hotel, fail to fix the roads – see what happens!

You can continue governing against the will of the people, but only more will show up.  It’s your choice.

Watch the meeting on-line tonight if you can’t attend in person:   http://www.cityblm.org/index.aspx?page=61  7:00pm

John Butler will present why he needs new scoreboards for minuscule crowds.  This is the same guy hiding financial information about the Coliseum, and the same guy who was paying himself a commission on Sales Tax collected as well as other items that weren’t revenue.  I can’t wait to hear the spin.  It will probably include Windows 98 not being supported by Microsoft.  (They quit supporting 98 in 2006) Remember CIAM also demanded new Point-Of-Sale equipment paid for by you, but they hide the reports generated.  Negotiating anything with CIAM shows why government isn’t capable of being in business.

  1. Out-of-order? Why is this necessary? When has there ever been a problem before? It’s just another double speak method of controlling any opposing views to the fascist/communist agenda.

  2. Come’on, look at How Renner dresses. Do YOU trust ANYONE who wears a bow tie, and a constant scowl. Sure wish Hansen would run AGAIN, and just beat the damed socks off Czar Tari

    1. I seem to remember Hanson never seeing a tax increase he didn’t like! How about a conservative who concentrates on roads, sewers etc

      1. How about a single mom who knows how to make ends meet or someone on a fixed income who is not beholding to political influences.
