If the Bloomington City Council hadn’t expanded Public Comment to 30 minutes a few weeks ago (when Renner was out of town), a lot of people wouldn’t have been allowed to speak last night.

First up was Judy Stearns. Please please please listen to a guy named Joe Walden at 16:20. He makes excellent points. (Forgive me the spelling if it’s wrong Joe!)
Former Mayor Buchanan is at 26:40, Jesse Smart at 31:55. I found it amusing that Jesse thinks Mitsubishi came to Bloomington because of the zoo. The assault on your wallet called “Quality of Life” goes back decades. It will continue since voting in local elections is seen as immaterial to most citizens.
Other citizens spoke about funding the zoo. You aren’t alone. Listen to all of them. Some people on the Council need to turn their mics off. We know you don’t listen, but proving it during comments on tape isn’t cool people.
I think the microphone malfunction was from Diana’s phone.
Ole Joe has it DOWN! This city is WAY too top heavy with administration-Hales, Dukowitz, etc. What we NEED is MORE people who are SELP motivated and don’t need a “study” to tell me HOW I need to live. WHEN was the LAST time Tari had a brown bag lunch?
