Hales still promoting bull

By:  Diane Benjamin

David Hales on WJBC 9/15 :  http://cdn.stationcaster.com/stations/wjbc/media/mpeg/David_Hales__Bloomington_City_Manager-1442324001.mp3

Hales was asked about the comments made by Alton Franklin Monday night calling for him to be fired over the pension spiking which cost Bloomington taxpayers more than $1.2 million.

Obviously Hales is the source of Alderman Buragas’s information, her email sounds just like him.  http://blnnews.com/2015/09/09/buragas-really-you-are-a-lawyer/

Has Amelia figured it out yet?

Maybe I can help.  I just received a HUGE pile of information from IMRF.  It is correspondence between the City of Bloomington and IMRF.

I’m going to post interesting letters and emails next.

Just in case you thought Hales was not changing the policy because he wanted to cash in – see below.  He will never be here 15 years, so he is either too chicken to tell the employees the gravy train left the building OR he’s not very smart.  Take your pick.

  1. I applicate your reporting. It is a breath of fresh air. I wonder how long the city will continue

to put out there BS before we get them out of office.

    1. Get everyone you know out to vote at the next election in 2017. Only Ward 3, 5, 6 & 7 are up for election. Voters can only vote for the Alderman from their Ward. Hales is an employee and can only be dismissed by majority vote of Council.

      1. He gets a pension after 8 years. I predict he will resign on his own. The City will then throw a big going away party for him, the Pantagraph will talk glowing about him, and the council will shed tears.
