I sent the County a Freedom of Information request for all the Statements of Economic Interests Matt Sorensen was required to file.

Besides all the side businesses listed, his addresses are interesting.
Matt and his wife used to live at 8270 Idlewood Dr, Bloomington. This is the property they sold: http://mcleanil.devnetwedge.com/view/RE/2232326023/2013
Page through the Tax Years – top left corner. The property still shows a Warranty Deed for $200,000 in 2013, but the Net Taxable Value has never reflected that amount. In fact, the Taxable Value has gone down since Sorensen’s sold it. The 2014 Taxable Value was $53,472, meaning it’s valued at around $160,000.
They now live at 19677 Josarah Ct, Bloomington. Big upgrade for the family! Net Taxable Value: $166,174 meaning the house is valued at almost $500,000. I hear it was for sale last summer, but didn’t sell. This is a link to the property: http://mcleanil.devnetwedge.com/view/RE/2229404001

I know Bledsoe’s father. I haven’t seen him in a while and the next time I see him I’ll have to ask about this.
Wow now that is a home upgrade for someone who lost their job at State Farm in what was it 2012. For someone possibly going to prison that is going to be a big step down. The lawyers will bleed him like leeches.
The daily rag also has a story today about him being a consultant for MERCER county in Western IL. they let him go after they found about the charges and DID NOT know he was on the board here!
