A reader sent me the following email. The Pantagraph is legendary for getting the facts wrong, but they can’t get their own facts straight?
These guys can be trusted to accurately report news?

This error is more of an editorial or proofreading problem. What I find amusing is the suggestion to email them if you need help while the on-line service is unavailable. Comcast does the same thing by asking its customers to go to their website to resolve connectivity issues.
Yes the e-mail system can still be up while the web site service is down. It’s an IT issue and there needs to be upgrades every once in awhile. What exactly do you have an issue with?

Someone made a typo. You devoted a story to typo. A typo. An IT person made a typo on a non-news story and you bootstrapped it with your war on the Pantagraph. You think Vogel is doing the web site coding and maintenance?

Typos are standard procedure. Says a lot about their reporting.
