Wonder how much of a loss the Town will take on this one. I’m not sure a change of ownership will improve anything. The clique at the EDC, Chamber, Town Hall, and other quasi-government agencies will, of course, say that the sale is a testament to the quality of life and an upward trend of the community. And, of course, they’ll wish the new ownership group well and indoctrinate them in “how things work around here”. Does Pam have her “right fit” questionnaire at the ready?
IF it’s sold for a dime on the dollar, they can get the assessment lowered! Hence, LESS UPTOWN money!
I can’t wait to hear how Koos and Pam spin that the hotel was sold because it was such a profitable venture.
