Congrats Bloomington. Aldermen Carrillo and Crabill are active socialists.
The other 7 Council members need to stand united against their totalitarian threats to your wallet. Both are immaterial and should be treated as such.
Neither have any overwhelming support except from the other local socialists.
Freedom loving people should at least show up to vote next time!

1) We now have a president who doesn’t believe in stealing from those who work hard to join in prosperity. There no longer is a guarantee of a free lunch.
2) With more of the population employed there are now more people who are seeing the light. Why should I give away my hard earned money to those who take (want freebies).

Yes even in Bloomington-Normal, we have communist activists who are ready and willing to turn our great country into the next Soviet Union. And yes, they should be questioned and called out for their promotion of communism each time the opportunity presents itself. And they have no business being part of our government in ANY capacity. They are a threat to our constitution, our government, our economy, our religion, our way-of-life and our god given freedoms and rights. Whether locally or nationally, we the people of this great land need to reject the insanity and destructiveness of this deeply flawed ideology. Our founding fathers are watching our response. We can either stand up now or submit to the chains the communists are preparing to put on us. I will be standing up to fight them…how about you?
These mentally disturbed cockroaches will continue to gain influence at all government levels. Their strategy is the same as it was in the sixties, infiltrate the education system and concentrate on winning over the young and impressionable, most who are intellectually lazy. The local influence you see is financed by communist and socialist organizations based in Chicago. The local Illinois People’s Action organization is the home beehive. With the NYC seltzer salesman garnering influence nationally, America bowing to socialist/communist influences is a real possibility as millennials and generation Y gain more power. Locally and statewide is a lost cause. Chicago will make sure it is a one party, groupthink far left liberal haven for years. Like an unattended house, its members will eventually rot and collapse to eventually be eaten up by vegetation. Future generations will never know what it once was.

Biden is also not out of the question. Also universal healthcare is somehow “totalitarianism” is a whopper of a lie. Advanced industrialized countries around the world have universal healthcare and they are not totalitarian governments. Same with other proposals which have been part of democratic republics around the world. The fact that we need to fight homelessness and the cost of college of a college education are not radical ideas.
Trump will wipe them out. Where is homelessness the worse? Why is a college education so expensive? Democrats own both. Countries with universal healthcare must ration care, delay treatment, and kill those not contributing money to the state. It is fun seeing the indoctrinated participate here!

Diane: With all due respect, future decades will prove who is right and who is wrong. I respect your position and know your passion. However, the realities in Illinois say different. Unless Chicago is willing to cede some its power to Downstate, which it never will, your choice will be to.leave and fight on another front or stay and pick up a loaded firearm to defend your property, family and yourself.
