Tim Gleason will announce hockey is exciting. He says everything is exciting, it’s always his opening remark. Maybe he’ll change it up tonight.
The return of hockey could be exciting if people attend games. If lots of people aren’t willing to pay to attend it will fail. If you want hockey here take your family!

They should name it the “No Name” arena. This big laugh would become more well known than any other.
Isn’t the saying “A growing Village Government is the sign of a thriving Village?”
Or maybe it’s the by product of a Mayor and city managers that are egomaniacs with blank checks to hire like-minded friends and colleagues that the city council are either too weak to question the need or rationale for. Perhaps, some on the council get to decide their own priorities and agendas without worry of being vetoed by turning a blind eye and deaf ear to their constituents after making back room (parking lot/phonecall) agreements outside of the “on the record” council meetings.
After all, we all know that all the decisions and real questions are asked outside of the council meetings. No one wants to be embarrassed or held accountable while “on the record”.
Even though the “Open Meetings Act” clearly states that a “majority of quorum, cannot be assembled for the purpose of discussing public business”.
I wouldn’t bet my worst day that at least 5 of the County boards Democrats haven’t met somewhere and discussed “public business”. As the “majority of a quorum” is the whole dived in half, twice. Example, McLean County Board has 20 members. (20/2=10)(10/2=5).
That’s right demonrats lie, cheat, steal, intimidate, etc. They truly believe that the ends justify the means. Their ends are all about more power and that is it. They are tyrants, most every last one of them.
The leftist progressive marxist democrats who move here look for an inflated paycheck with a job. Work? Not really.
