Go back to payroll reports January 2019 – pre Covid. Some employees were paid weekly, others were bi-weekly:
Total: 777
December 2023 the City of Bloomington had 1009 employees.
December 2018 the City of Bloomington had 777 employees.
2020 population: 78,680
2022 population: 78,864

The increase in employees can not be justified under any metric!
Big government is the socialist dream. You shouldn’t have elected them as majority. Of course you get to pay all these employees, including pensions and healthcare.
