The vote to confirm Chris Koos to the Amtrak Board was 91-7. Two Senators didn’t vote.
Seven Senators voted against him:

I wish Mike Braun, Josh Hawley, Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Eric Schmitt, Rick Scott, and Tommy Tuberville would state why!

Maybe they know him?
😂😂😂
I have contacted all of the Senators who voted against Chris Koos. Most responses have been “We will get back to you”. Rick Scott disappointedly said that I need to contact my state for my concerns. His staff missed the point entirely.
Scott was born in BN back in 1952. His biological father was an alcoholic. He was adopted by his step-dad and raised outside of Illinois. Proof again that nothing much good happens there.
good luck getting any true thoughtful response from any politician thats nit auto generates or scripted to meet a narrative by “interns” or “support”
its pathetic st every level
highly paid non thinkers
Those 7 aren’t Durbin
Most of them are crooks. Koos fits right in.
Don’t be surprised if Chrissy decides to run for higher office someday. You can bet Durbin has already whispered in his ear about future opportunities. It’s why he keeps running for mayor in order to be an active player in the political cesspool.
Braun is running for Indiana governor this year. Endorsed by DJT. For the most part, he is a pretty solid conservative and has a good staff that researches. Has stated numerous times that D.C. is a cesspool where you can’t get anything of value done and is sick of it. Young on the other hand became a RINO and will likely be primaried when he is up for election next. For being a Marine, he is squishy on most issues and sticks his finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing. Duckworth and Durbin will always be Duckworth and Durbin. Great to be relieved of all the Illinois nonsense.
