Lots of people have asked me who is responsible for last night Bloomington Township meeting.
The meeting was called because it only takes 15 valid signatures to force a township meeting. Maybe those who think the Bloomington Election Commission should be abolished should put a question on the November ballot!
There are no standards in Illinois Township law regulating petitions, note pages 2 and 3 aren’t even signed at the bottom.
See who signed:

It makes so much sense 😆
Hmmm…. more “foreign” names than any others and….some of those names are known to be anti-Israel. What has Bloomington-Normal-McLean Co. turned into? Never mind, I already know. 🙁 🙁
A better question or action for both sides would be a public signing of a loyalty oath to the United States of America. Borders, language and culture.
6 and 7 on the first page were written by the same person.
Rules for thee and not for me…
Now, have we not had controversy about petitions? Why were pages 2 and 3 accepted on any level? Should these not have been notarized? Thank you so much for putting those page numbers on there…we know that can be a deal breaker!
Townships don’t have petition rules
Can that be done by the Township? I mean adding the no to City Election Commission?
Yes
