Ross Webb Withdraws Candidacy for McLean County Board’s 10^th District

MEDIA ADVISORY: Ross Webb is withdrawing from his bid to run for the 10^th District of the McLean County Board in 2024.

BLOOMINGTON IL — Ross Webb has withdrawn his candidacy for the 10th District seat on the McLean County Board.

After careful consideration and deliberation, I have withdrawn my candidacy for the McLean County Board’s 10th District seat.  I have been presented with an exceptional job opportunity that aligns closely with my career goals and aspirations. While I have been honored to participate in this political race and have appreciated the support and encouragement from my supporters, this new professional opportunity requires my full dedication and commitment and will take both myself and my family out of McLean County.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey, including my campaign team, volunteers, donors, and most importantly, the constituents of District 10. It has been an incredible experience to engage with the community.

I understand the responsibility that comes with running for public office and I assure you that this decision was not made lightly.  I am confident that a strong candidate will be slated in my place who shares my devotion and dedication to this wonderful community.
