On a different device I can see this post. I suggest everyone read the comments themselves – especially alderman who will be funding this.
The below was posted on Facebook. It was dated June 8th. I said “was” because it disappeared. There were tons of comments not supporting the project. There were a few who did support it but they were VERY outnumbered. Frequently mentioned were crappy roads, high taxes, and the arena. Since the post is “sponsored”, the City of Bloomington paid Facebook to promote the new downtown plan and then didn’t like the results. Sorry, just the post was deleted, not the expensive plan. Not voting has consequences.

Leftist progressive marxists do not care what the taxpayers think or want. They just plow ahead with their agenda regardless of the bad financial consequences.
