That election was April 6, 2021. Only 21.8% of registered voters bothered to show up even with 40 days of early voting. https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/IL/Bloomington/109017/web.276013/#/turnout
That link includes a coded map showing what parts of Bloomington voted more than others. It’s a despicable turnout considering District 87 and City of Bloomington are the governments taxing you out of Illinois.
This was Ward 9 in 2021:

April 1st this race is between Abby Scott (Beirne) and Roger Bedeker. Below is Roger’s candidacy announcement:
Bloomington, IL – 7/26/2024 – Roger Bedeker, a lifelong resident of Central Illinois, has announced his candidacy for City Council Ward 9 in Bloomington. “I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for City Council” said Bedeker. “Having grown up in Central Illinois and raising my family here, I am passionate about what lies ahead for our community. I will listen to the concerns of our residents and work collaboratively to find effective solutions for a brighter future.”
Bedeker and his wife Rachel have two children who attend Unit 5 schools. He has served in a variety of roles at State Farm since 2006 and holds a B.A. in Organizational Management from Ashford University. Rachel, an Illinois State alum, is an executive with Tentac Enterprises. Together they volunteer for several charitable organizations.
Bedeker’s campaign will focus on four key issues: reducing taxpayer burden, promoting economic development, addressing aging infrastructure, and keeping residents safe. He believes in fostering a sense of community and ensuring that every resident’s voice is heard.
“Together, we can make Bloomington an even better place to live, work, and raise a family,” Bedeker continued. “I am dedicated to serving our community with integrity and look forward to the opportunity to make a positive impact.”

If you don’t get your neighbors to vote no one will.
Citizens can’t afford another dismal turnout.

He appears to be in stark contrast to the WOKE, he/him, BLM, LGTBQ, Harris, supporting Abby Scot. She/her picture with husband tells her/she agenda loud and clear! Just what we need….another progressive left Marxist.
With Cody Hendricks as Mayor and Mollie Ward , John Danenberger , Jenna Kearns and Abby Scott as alderpersons our community will blossom as a progressive beacon of hope. We have reached a milestone of control on the county board and together with the Town of Normal progressive representation our entire region can be an oasis free of maga.

😝😝😝🤑
the result of that lineup would be an open sewer
Little known fact: there are more Bloomington household in Unit 5 than District 87.
