The officer was notified by HR they will be paying him benefits and reimbursing the personal sick time he was forced to use.
The incident happened in October. The law is black and white. It shouldn’t have taken this long.
Just:
Whoever works in HR needs FIRED!! This should have never happened. The citizens of Bloomington should be in an uproar over the actions of this administration. Say NO to Cody Hendricks as Mayor. He has so many political ads on Facebook that I had to report it as spam and block his political postings. Dan Brady for Mayor! Maybe he can clean up the city. How disgraceful is it that a person that serves years protecting this city has to fight what is black and white under the law. Again…FIRE the HR rep and start cleaning up this mess
Long Time Here, I agree with your comments, until you get to the part of Dan Brady cleaning up the mess. Dan’s (long) history in politics does not show that he is a person to take the lead in making difficult decisions.
He has more connections to this community than you realize and understand the corruption and political BS that is occurring under your nose.
Dan Brady has the endorsement of law enforcement.
Cody Hendricks and his husband and their supporters detest law enforcement.
Have any of the County Board members or City Council members voted against anything related to the police in the last few years? Have any of them brought any initiatives that would harm law enforcement? Even Members Able and Beirne votes for increased spending for the jail and sheriffs departments, increased salaries, increased hiring. Hendricks and Kearns in Bloomington as well. The only thing that I remember recently that was even a bit controversial was all the police cameras and license plates readers and I think Hendricks was a supporter of those. Someone refresh my memory.
They don’t bring up items without the votes to pass it
Did you ever see what Krystle Able posted on Facebook about police? No? That is because she cleaned up her page. Many of us have screenshots. Krystle, Corey and Kearns do not agree with our justice system. You provided the names of the people that wanted to defund the police. Go back to 2020 and do your research.
I have been driven for many years (for whatever reason) to give back to the world for all the blessings I have. “Make the world a little better place than you left it, I used to say” Almost 40 years later, I still try to do the same thing.
On this day, I feel compelled to give you the following knowledge. And this might be the most important thing I have done in my 73 years of life. This is now about saving lives…. this about maybe saving your life…. so bear with me.
The following interview is long and boring. So many of you will find it impossible to get through or understand. So I have become somewhat of a local expert in the many disciplines that Geert Vanden Bosssche brings together to “connect the dots” in the current situation we find ourselves in.
We as a race are facing a series of events that will change the course of history and permanently change the racial, ethnic and population dynamics of our world.
