The McLean County Ethics Commission referred both Taylor and Johnston today to the State’s Attorney for further investigation. This involves the solicitation of donations on County property to get the McLean County Auditor office abolished.
I don’t have a lot of details, but they issued a statement that sufficient evidence exists to proceed with an inveswtigation.
The State’s Attorney will either charge the Sheriff’s department or the State Police with that job.
I believe there are 3 investigations ongoing. This is just one of them.
If you don’t know, Cassy Taylor is the County Administrator. Lizzy (Elizabeth) Johnston is the Democrat Chair of the County Board.
I hope they feel the same fear unelected citizens feel having these kind of people in office.
Now the people will see in a most up close and personal way EXACTLY what kind State’s Attorney and Sheriff we have !

They wimped out and sent it to AG.
A Democrat AG with TDS investigating 2 other Democrats. I can guess the outcome already.
