These layoffs are only for companies with 75 or more fulltime employees. The smaller local businesses that have closed aren’t reported.
Yes. It concerns me when all of people in the companies listed above lose their jobs. I am not, however, concerned as federal employees lose their jobs. They are overpaid, underqualified, and do very little if anything to earn that paycheck.
I’m sure not all of them are! Some of the recently fired deserved it
