The McLean County Sheriff’s office is investigating what appears to be a conspiracy among McLean County Schools Districts to convince you to vote for the Sales Tax increase.
The investigation won’t be done before the election. I know more details, but I’ll let the investigation play out.

Users can’t do anything on the Unit 5 website without a pop-up box concerning the 1% Sales Tax increasing blocking access.

Enrollment is declining while taxes have gone the opposite direction. You have a budget, this tax will never go away. Voters who show up will determine if this tax passes. Even if you ignore everything else on your ballot – vote NO on this one.
The schools are trying too hard to catch the pot of gold this tax will provide. Too hard. Progressives never have enough of your money.
Can you at least say a little more about the Sheriff’s investigation? It is pretty common for agencies at all levels to receive a complaint and do a cursory review of the matter while people construe that as a full “investigation” that will produce some sort of result.
