I just Voted NO on the sales tax scam! I am making numerous calls for others to do the same!
Yes, I voted. But I also undervoted. My State representative Mike Coffey voted YES to SB1817, which means landlords must Rent to illegal aliens. Now Mike Coffeys daughter is on the ballot for Park District. It’s disgusting. Again, I undervoted. And I thanked everyone for working the polls.

I did. But it didn’t do any good. The tax passed. I live half way in between Bloomington and Lincoln so I’ll be doing my shopping in Logan county. I left Bloomington because of high taxes now I can’t wait to leave illinois.
Almost wasn’t allowed to. They said my signature didn’t match. I had to resign 3 more times before I got to one they liked. What was the purpose of that. They even told me what was wrong with the signature. Wouldn’t a simple ID be easier. Election judges were Susan, Grace, and Terry at Normal 25. Complete voter suppression. Can’t wait to leave Illinois.
Did they refuse to give you their last names? If they did, report them and see if County Clerk does anything to investigate. Even if they didn’t, clerk should have record who is overseeing the precinct. That said, don’t hold your breath. Years ago I reported a union thug that was telling.people who to vote for on Six Points Road, nothing done.

Beats my experiences but not surprised. So you don’t feel alone, four years ago, I put my driver’s license on the table at the Government Center. The two running the table almost clobbered each.other to be the first to tell me l “didn’t need that” to vote. One was an Indian woman. I asked the other gal if she was a citizen and she refused to answer me. After voting, I went down to the clerks office and asked them to come to the fourth floor to verify if the woman manning the table was a U.S. citizen because she could barely speak English. She gave me some BS about her not having to be and it was immaterial. I responded oh, so that’s how elections roll around here? The next day, I asked to.see the clerk. She acted disinterested and said everyone working an election had to be approved whether from her office or BEC. I told her it still didn’t answer my question whether non-citizens were working elections. I just walked away and told her everything is crooked in BN, isn’t it? Just remember party doesn’t matter in BN. They all belong to the same ruling Clique.
Maybe citizens didn’t care enough to sign up
Doesn’t matter and shouldn’t. Non-citizens should not be allowed to participate in our elections in any way, shape or form. Not getting a straight answer from those running the show then is pretty much all I needed to know that she had no business there. For someone promoting fair elections your response to my post is puzzling. The woman could have been doing anything when voters were not present. Small wonder why BN is in the shape it’s in. Can’t wait for the moaning tomorrow when all the losers are voted in today. Glad I’m long time gone.
Been waiting for them to tell me my signature doesn’t match, MS affecting my writing hand and I know that my signature at some point in time won’t match. be interesting to see the reaction of the judges when that happens. Kudos to the judges though I believe that they are all volunteers!

Did anyone see the NAACP with a table outside the Eastland mall election site during early voting last year? They said they were only there to encourage people to vote. I thought it was a little sketchy. If any other organization (mostly a conservative one)was there they would have been told to leave.
Bistro queen so nice of you to share who you voted for was this a vote for shared lifestyle or for the most qualified. Hendricks is a school teacher my outrageous house taxes pay his salary and pension I don’t believe that as mayor he will have any interest in lowering my house taxes .
