The city doesn’t care if you’re offended by the Pride community, who assume you care about their personal relationships. However, this pressures you to care. The local Pride party in downtown Bloomington isn’t until August.
The City claims:
Bloomington is positioning itself to become the first city in the State of Illinois to be Human Trafficking Training Certified and recognized as a Partner in Peace by the Center for Prevention of Abuse.
Actually what it will do is the same thing it did in other cities that passed licensing requirements for “massage parlors”. The operators will move their operations to a city that hasn’t passed an investigation ordinance.
They take the people trafficked with them.
Out of sight, out of mind.
