89 jobs are listed for Normal. All of them aren’t highly skilled. The list includes software developers, data scientists, product managers, quality manager, various engineers including staff, etc, etc, etc.

Before Rivian Automotive can hire foreign workers, whether permanently or temporarily, it must submit labor certifications to the Department of Labor (DOL). These certifications confirm compliance with wage requirements for the specified job locations.The reports below summarize Labor Condition Applications (LCA) for H-1B visas and Labor Certifications (LC) for green cards filed by Rivian Automotive. This data represents only the number of applications submitted and does not guarantee visa approvals or worker hires.
The LCA data includes applications for various purposes: new employment, continuation or changes to previously approved employment, new concurrent employment, changes in employer, and amended petitions. Typically, only LCAs for new employment require an H-1B visa cap if the employer is not cap-exempt.For example, Rivian Automotive submitted 2,671 LCAs and LCs during fiscal years 2022 – 2024. However, this figure does not necessarily reflect the number of foreign workers hired, as visa applications can be denied. Additionally, employees renewing or transferring H-1B visas or changing work locations may need to file new LCAs.
The DOL generally certifies more than three times the number of foreign worker requests compared to the H-1B visas issued by USCIS. Therefore, there is no direct correlation between the number of workers certified by the DOL and the H-1B visas issued by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Keep paging down for even more information. It shows 666 H1B visas in Normal along with 57 Green card holders. Those numbers don’t include both in other states.
Rivian also has the best road in the county in front of their plant. Just a coincidence I’m sure.
So where is State Farm on that list……Are Ernst&Young a front company for them?

They’re slick, State Farm I mean. They’ve an entire Indian community, I’d be surprised if they don’t use a front company. The Indian SFers I’ve know are not EMPLOYED by SF but rather by a company that subcontractors them!
Readers with a deep memory may remember when WGLT did a series on the Indian population in B-N a few years ago and never once bothered to question why the population had skyrocketed over a set period of time. That was the real story but instead we got “feel-good” content about local cricket games and while large companies like State Farm both import and outsource labor needs at our expense. This needs to be talked about — and loudly.
Software developers, data scientists, product managers, quality manager, various engineers ARE VERY HIGHLY SKILLED. These job candidates are getting big signing bonuses and stock options from more established tech companies that are not in central IL. It’s a double hit cuz Riivian is not keeping the good ones and not attracting new hires.

Pritzker and most IL Dems don’t care about the rights of citizens. It was a shock that he allowed the cut of the immigrant health program, but that was probably a decision based on political convenience more than anything else (there was a budget gap, it was unpopular, etc.). The political classes (both left and right) will, are, and have been selling out the American people for a long time for the sake of the GDP. It needs to stop.

I made the comment many years ago when State Farm, an American company that was selling insurance and making a lot of money off from American people started importing many people from India to work for them.
Nothing against India and their people but there were Americans who were capable of doing the work that State Farm was filling positions from those outside of America.
Follow the money I cancelled all my policies and promised to never do business with State Farm ever.
I have sone wonderful friends who came here that way. Obama rushed then to citizenships, they vote conservative!
They did this to avoid having to pay benefits and at one point the Indian population working for SF weren’t paying taxes that go to the schools these kids were attending.
State farm uses Accenture for their Indian labor importation. Pays Accenture over $200 an hour for those contracts, which is more than 2x for salary and benefits of American software employees at state farm. The actual Indian labor gets 20-30% of that, while Accenture pockets the rest.
White replacement in the name of corporate profit or whatever rationale is pure evil. Rivian deserves to be exposed for this. Capitalism is anti White and anti Christian.
