Proposed Solar Farm – Dawson Township Seeing $$$

By: Diane Benjamin

This is the first post of what might be many.

The County and Tri-Valley are only seeing dollar signs. Tri-Valley will get used to the property tax increases and then, as the farm depreciates which decreases property values, district taxpayers will be taxed more. The same thing happened with wind turbines.

Will Chinese companies be making these solar panels? They currently make 80% worldwide.

The proposed solar farm will be on PRIME farmland. Who needs food?

The below was created by Casey Misch who lives in this area. The yellow the proposed solar farm:

  1. That’s HUGE! Hundreds of acres. The rent the solar company’s pay is very high. I know one offering $2500 an acre with a 5% annual increase on a 25 year lease with extension options. Hey need sun to work……so what does central Illinois do in January and February?

  2. Lotsa climate and workforce dev $ flow with these ESG and sustainability and green energy solar implementation s. Universities, colleges and Private /famer and landowners and legacy connected state and national Farming club members love it!!

In Central Illinois calling things modernization, climate friendly, job creation friendly etc is an easy sell. Realizing that all parties pay high taxes regardless. Most play the game and get incentivized for “research” and building the future or “AI innovation.” None of our (non land owners/farm families) utilities will ever reduce and neither will our tax bills under the systems they forced us into. This is nothing new. Citizens, students and taxpayers are just test rats and data/tools to be analyzed and take taxes from and digitally surveilled and monitored.

These sales/projects are “For the climate and Kids” you know. Central Illinois is one huge marketing and pay to play game with colleges/universities and special interest money flow. Landowners just gain and call it business, using untillable land or raising $ for the schools. Many do get subsidized privately and publicly so why would they not be all in? (Especially if their family/connections get the big pay and lead jobs/positions and tax funded pensions??) Legacy wealth and university ties run Central Illinois.

China and others have been heavily involved for a long time. As well as their projects/platforms partnering tightly with big orgs, farm bureau and political clubs and media/IT systems and state/county/local governments for a long time (few of us ever said a thing) and corps just kept ram rodding things in for their globalist model. Noone said a thing or must not have even cared or realized as the Digital Transformation money and projects was heavily executed.

  3. Solar panels can go many places but covering the most productive farm land in the world is not wise. You can’t eat electricity.
The foundation of the foolishness needs to be exposed.

    1. From Here you’re absolutely correct. They don’t have to be on farm ground. In Phoenix they do car ports over entire parking lots! They need shade because they have sun, contrary to us..
