What did Charlie miss? Only what would have sealed the premise of his story since the whole article is about her holding down 2 full time jobs plus County Board member and her ability to do any of them justice.

Even though Charlie talked to past Township Supervisors plus the Bloomington Township Supervisor, did he skip asking them if they did the bookkeeping instead of subcontracting it?
If Charlie had mentioned Able hired an accounting firm to do the bookkeeping it could have proved Krystle isn’t capable of having 2 full-time jobs. Charlie could have asked the former Township Supervisor, Sarah Grammer, if she did the bookkeeping. The story mentioned her board reduced her salary when she wanted to be in the office for fewer hours.
The current board of all democrats didn’t return phone calls.

That is the equivalent of giving the middle finger to Normal Township taxpayers. She’s getting paid to work a full time job and isn’t. Her Normal Township salary is WAY above what other township supervisors are paid – according to the story.

I hope Charlie left out he hiring an accounting firm because he’s still investigating. He might want to ask Jess Ray if he’s still working for the township. I know he stayed for while.
Meanwhile, Able is making the trustees all look bad by ignoring her antics. They all refused to comment, according to Charlie:
Normal township has had a book keeper for decades. Jill Schaab, Randy’s late wife, did it for many many years. She handled all of the money for township AND the entire GA program. When she died over winter, they hired Tonya. Idk of a time when township hasn’t had a bookkeeper. Bloomington also has several different employees including admin assistants.
According to ables post on her social media there are three employees at the township office and Jess Ray wasn’t named.
A former Trustee told me bookkeeping is her job. Regardless, an accounting firm is much more expensive than an employee. I worked at 2.
Abel’s post about being an exempt employee that gets paid for her title not for her time made me laugh. Being exempt doesn’t mean you get a high salary for less work. As an exempt employee I worked more hours, not less to keep up with the additional responsibilities I was given. I just didn’t get overtime pay for it.
Over all she sounds defensive for the lack of time she puts in on the job. She knows its not right and she wants to justify it. As a Socialist she probably finds justification in her High Potentate position above the lowly “line worker” that sweats long hard hours to pay her full time salaries while putting in part time hours.
They call this the “Politburo”.
Listen up people, Crystal is super human, better than ya all. Two, three jobs, no problem. She can do it all. Just ask her. Maybe she’ll comment. Single parent. Time for that too?!? Although the kid might be better off being less around so much Karl Marx love. Wonder if Krystal making all that money is still begging for some poor schmuck to get her that $49.95 cut out of Karl? Well comrades this is how Krystal and Karl want it to be. So much money for them. Scraps from the table for you. Hogging jobs that others could do, embracing capitalism while telling others how bad it is for them. It was only a matter of time to obviously see that “what’s in it for Krystal” was her bottom line.

Excellent pickup in what Charlie missed. But the inside scoop is that Jess and Krystle planned this, along with many others, way before the election. “This” being Jess to step aside, letting Krystle run as Supervisor, then hire Jess back as the “assistant/Superintendent at large” with salary to fulfill her obligations while she campaigns 365 days a year for her future exploits. It was a conspiracy, scam, and shows their ethical disregard for taxpayers all for her to benefit financially and politically to push her ideological agendas. Such as the Democrat talking points , her communist allies, and whatever anti-family, higher tax, DEI, child confusion program the left is pushing.
Krystle is the epitome of what Mao and Pol Pot want in a devout follower.
Her idol is Marx.
Single parent, three kids with one needing special care?!? Raising children is a full time job! Not to mention,,,. No way 2-3 other jobs and raise those kids right. Not that she’s got the right path for them to follow but still this is the mother. Wow! No friggin’ way. Enjoying capitalism while preaching communism and robbing her own children of family time. The hypocrisy of greed for all to see.
That executive director job at a non profit was probably just a title to make it seem like she has a work history and was employed. I would suggest looking up their non profit tax records to see if she was actually getting paid. So it’s probably just the supervisor job, but given her sensitivity to the subject she’s obviously slacking on the work hours.

Surely more heroes of Chrystal Able obviously dreaming of riches for herself while preaching communism for all and leaving her kids on the sideline.
Although Charlie is a liberal, at least he tried to expose the hypocrisy of this wacko holding multiple government jobs at attractive salaries and claiming she is doing them well. The people quoted defending her are well-known local leftists that have the same radical ideologies as Abel so their opinions are meaningless concerning her job performance. I wouldn’t believe a thing on Abel’s resume, even if she has one. Most people I was acquainted with made no secret they lied like hell on resumes and in job interviews and had no guilt doing it. Like most people in BN, Abel is a BSer supreme who lives by do as I say, not as I do. She’s the female poster child of why BN and McLean County is a hot mess never to recover.

“ I know the last person who worked under the supervisor. In fact, she worked under the last 3 supervisors. She did the work of the case manager, intake specialist, and bookkeeper for over 15 years. There wasn’t a need for three people to do the job of one. And there wasn’t a need for bookkeeping to be outsourced. Krystle has hired three people (spending more tax payers money) because she doesn’t want to be in her office working or helping out with these duties. It makes me laugh watching all these people praise this woman for all these “amazing changes” after the last employee alone did these jobs for over a decade up until literally the day she unexpectedly died. She’s not here to tell the truth, so I will for her. She did her job, she did it alone, and she did it WELL.

So, when exactly was the last time a supervisor did the job of the supervisor? Sounds like the last person who worked under the last three supervisors did every job in township and the previous three supervisors did……what exactly?
The comments section of the WGLT post has been quite interesting. If a Republican had been elected to office and was the single parent of 3 children and held multiple elected jobs and was constantly posting on their Facebook that they were out of town, etc., the outcry from the same people defending Krystle would be deafening. But because this critique was of a Democrat, all of those commentors dropped their interest in critical thinking and began circling the wagons. Further critiques: The WGLT story was half-baked at best, and a lot of people seem to be missing the point that holding office is often a matter of ego — much less holding multiple offices — and all of this, the comments, the stories, all the engagement on her posts, serves her ego well.
