Details for my Public Comment at the 9/8/2025 City Council meeting:
Criminal Damage to Property because of political ideology is a HATE CRIME.
Where is Not In Our Town?
I am not going to identify where this property is to prevent further harm to the homeowner. It is on a major Bloomington street however. I can’t believe pictures haven’t made social media.

Calling for the assassination of the President of the United States because you don’t like him is a HATE CRIME. Defacing a fence with what looks like BLEACH in large numbers that can’t easily be fixed is a HATE CRIME.
The homeowner has Trump signs and a Trump flag. This wasn’t the only attack on this house. The fence was defaced on July 29th. On August 17 ornaments filled with red powder were thrown over the fence. There is no mention of the powder being tested for hazardous substances.

These photos are from two police report I received by FOIA. The police reports list the damage to the fence at $200. The powder damage is listed at $1. I don’t see how either amount is close to accurate.

Is Criminal Damage to Property okay at homes that support President Trump?
Evidently it is.
If Not In Our Town is really against HATE, ask me where this home is. Maybe NIOT can organize a march to help the homeowner figure out how to fix the fence. They can also FOIA my FOIA, it’s easy to figure out which house from the police reports.
The blue redactions are mine, the others were done by the police department. Why didn’t they ask the public for information on this HATE CRIME?

This will be a good gauge of whether NIOT is a valid organization or just a front organization for democrats on the TDS spectrum.
This will prove that Mike Matejka and NIOT is not at all sincere or honest. They will gladly condone and promote hate against certain people. They will remain silent about this.
Mike Matejka has proven to be a snake in the grass for decades.
