Words like racist now have no meaning. Other words are rapidly suffering the same fate: Nazi, White Supremacist, Democracy, and Fascist. Throwing out labels where they don’t apply makes them immaterial and it proves those who use them are incapable of independent thought.
Example:

.
Many people today have no idea what any of those terms mean. They just repeat the hate they hear. That is how leftists work, repeat the same words and phrases until they are burned into skulls that don’t bother with facts. The indoctrinated repeat what they hear without any research of their own.
The left uses those words to justify violence. Of course Nazis and Fascists need shot, leftists believe they are saving “democracy”. This country has never been a democracy so saving it was always lie.
The below is from the Not In Our Town Facebook page.

.
NIOT hasn’t said a word about the Charlie Kirk assassination even though he was on the ISU campus just a few months ago.
Not In Our Town hasn’t said a word about this criminal damage to property calling for the murder of the President either: https://blnnews.com/2025/09/08/hate-lives-in-bloomington/
I published that story on Monday, 5 days later NIOT is still silent.

.
Hate against Donald Trump and his supporters must be fine.
Is Not In Our Town a fraud Mike Matejka?
If NIOT isn’t a fraud, Matejka is failing the stated mission:

.
Attacks on people who simply display a Trump sign and flag is bullying and obviously not inclusive. Failure to counter bigotry and bullying in the Twin Cities means Not In Our Town doesn’t believe in equal rights and free speech for all. They want conversations shut down.
Silence is violence. By not calling criminal damage to property hate speech, NIOT is promoting it.
Their pledge card is completely meaningless.

It’s obvious what they mean by Not in Our Town, is no Christian conservatives in our town.
What happens when they say “punch a Nazi” and then start calling literally everyone they disagree with a Nazi? What happens when you combine that with their mantra of “Words are Violence/microaggression”? You get Kirk in Utah.
Sometimes what you don’t say says more about you than what you do say. Now we can be confident that NIOT and some of our local political “leaders” hide under a fake moral superiority blanket.
Everyone, including the mayor of Bloomington, should shred their pledge. It doesn’t mean what it says.
The new pledge – In Our Town we appreciate those that promote violence against people we don’t like and hate does have a home here.
This is NIOT 2.0. The first group tried to make a racist out of anyone who didn’t support Orlando Ave becoming a Chicago housing project. That couple left town after stirring the pot.
Locally NIOT was founded a lie. NIoT was formed due to a supposed rash of church burnings in the south. The Local NIOT conned the Bloomington mayor at the time to pay police overtime to protect local churches. However, there was no rash of church burnings. The fires like usual were caused by lightning strikes, faulty electrical or criminals covering up their burglary.
The Oath that NIOT signs is nothing more than a political prop to use to club people with when an event can be used to promote their political agenda. Their agenda is far left wing ideology and hatred. The same kind that killed Charlie Kirk. It is no surprise they remain silent.
