Illinois September layoff notices

The Illinois layoff list is back to updating daily: https://www.illinoisworknet.com/LayoffRecovery/Pages/IllinoisWARNData.aspx

In September another 2,069 people in Illinois have been notified they will be laid off.

The August layoffs were 1,065. In the last 12 months the total is 16,112.

        1. POTUS was just handed a budget/jobs reduction by the Dems. Nonessential government workers and programs will help cut the budget. This government shut down grandstanding by both parties is simply BS. The CR that Dems will likely fold toward only reverts to 2025 government spending limits. All the really big GOP and Dem spenders are on the Appropriations Committee, so this entire kabuki theatre is for the media and low IQ voters.

          This WARN data will most likely show most of these individuals pop up as new hires in other states…when these individuals relocate.

          Cap X spending is up everywhere except IL. As Peach correctly observes, the problem is Illinois. A DOGE effort is needed in Illinois, McLean County and Bloomington, IL. Normal, IL is a progressive socialist entity that is dead to me.
