Champaign County ballot error

Nobody proofreads in Champaign County?

There is no one running named Tad Dabrowski. His name is Ted.

The current County Clerk and running for re-election is AARON AMMONS. He should be required to reprint all Republican ballots.

It should be no surprise Champaign County has a “structural deficit” and is asking voters which taxes should be raised:

“Structural deficit” is way to say we spent too much money, started to many projects, and now we can’t afford them. If you want to keep benefiting, which taxes do you want to increase?

This question is on the primary ballot because most people don’t bother to vote in the election that decides who will be on the November ballot. Just like the local schools putting the 1% sales tax increase on the primary ballot, it’s done because it’s easier to get the desired results.

Elections have consequences.

In case you forgot, The last local ballot error was in 2020 by the Bloomington Election Commission: https://blnnews.com/2020/10/01/early-voting-suspended-in-bloomington/

One more thing, this isn’t the first error the office run by Aaron Ammons has committed: https://blnnews.com/2020/08/13/will-incompetence-run-vote-by-mail/

  1. If you Google Ted’s REAL NAME, in Polish it is TAD. I grew up with a lot of Polish folks in Chicago. It was common knowledge.
