WordPress didn’t allow the title to show as intended! The real company name is 1o8 LLC. The zero isn’t a zero, it’s an “O”.

A reader tipped me off to that one! That hasn’t been clear anywhere I’ve seen.

It does make it easier to find information!

Illinois Cares For Kids is listed on their main page along with a lot of detracting graphics – paid for by taxpayers.

The INCCRRA tax return for the year ended 6/30/2025 is still not available. The audit is however. PDF page 21 shows they received a total of $74,213,475 from the Federal government. The following page states:

DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR FEDERAL PROGRAMS

The major federal program of INCCRRA was the Child Care and Development Fund Cluster
(93.575 and 93.596).

The purpose of the Child Care and Development Fund Cluster is to increase the availability, affordability, and quality of child care services. Funds are used to subsidize child care for low-income families where the parents are working or attending training or educational programs, as well as activities to promote overall child care quality for children, regardless of
subsidy receipt.
