Remember this one?

.
Doesn’t this sound like Krystle needs a lot of time off? Why until August 15th? Who gets paid for doing the Supervisor job if the elected Supervisor isn’t doing it?
Better question: Is appointing a Deputy Supervisor when there isn’t a vacancy even legal?
https://ilga.gov/documents/legislation/ilcs/documents/006000010K60-5.htm
(60 ILCS 1/60-5) Sec. 60-5. Filling vacancies in township offices.

.
Numerous places in Sec. 60-5 mention filling vacancies. Filling vacancies that don’t exist isn’t mentioned anywhere. That means it can’t be done, so NO appointing a Deputy Supervision wasn’t legal.
Krystle need to explain why she is planning to not do the job she was elected to do. Is her other 40 hour a week job getting in the way? Maybe her union organizing activities makes township responsibilities difficult?
Is she planning on getting paid during her absence? Did the Board ask any questions before voting? Video of the meeting is of course not available. Secrecy is preferred.
How is the Township operating without a budget? The fiscal year ended April 30th. The new budget won’t be voted on until May 24th.
Anybody planning to ask about this? Taxing Normal to buy more votes Krystle?

How did they collect 400% more in property tax revenue year over year? And did they really run a $300,000 operating deficit last year?
Spending is shifted to new priorities, total budget is slightly down because of reserves.
